Privacy Policy

Froggoku is made by Clark's Puzzles ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Froggoku apps for iPhone and Android, and the web version and website at clarkspuzzles.com collect, and how it is used. The short version: we don't ask for your name, we don't have accounts, and your puzzle progress stays on your device. The apps show ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device information as described below.

Information stored on your device

Your puzzle progress, best times, Daily Pond streak and settings are saved only on your device (in the app's local storage). We don't receive them. Deleting the app or clearing your browser data removes them.

Advertising

Froggoku is free. The apps show ads from Google AdMob: a short ad before each day's Daily Pond, and an optional video if you choose to watch one for an extra heart. To show and measure ads, Google may collect:

• your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone, Advertising ID on Android), if you allow it;
• your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
• device and app information such as model, operating system, language, and how you interact with ads.

On iPhone, the app asks for permission before allowing tracking for personalized ads. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent using Google's consent form, and you can change your choice later. If you don't allow personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized ads.

Google's use of this information is governed by Google's privacy policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can reset your advertising identifier or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

On the website, Google AdSense may show a small banner ad beside the game. Google may collect the same kinds of information described above (using cookies on the web), and visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland are asked for consent first. Every other part of the website is ad-free.

Website

Like most websites, our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

Children

Froggoku is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to its use. Because we don't hold account data, most information about you is held by Google (for ads). If you email us, we use your message only to reply, and we'll delete it on request.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
